Gifft Hill School Gives Back

Yesterday was GHS Gives Back. It's a day when the children give back to community. Some classes went to the beach for a beach clean-up, the preK class went to spend time with the elderly, another class fed the homeless and the fourth grade class had a lemonade stand to raise money for the STJ Cancer Fund and Alex's Lemonade Stand those kids raised over $900!! Shane's class went to the ACC where they painted the cat room inside the building and then painted all of the dog kennels. We helped out as parent volunteers and we had a great time with a great bunch of kids! As a reward for the work, they were able to play with the puppies in the playpen!
