Ship passengers speak poorly of St. Croix as destination, cruise officials tell senators
Interesting article from the Daily News:
"Many of them said they couldn't adequately respond because there was nothing to see at night," he said. "However, what was interesting was that they were concerned with the heavy presence of the police and they interpret the heavy presence of the police that something is wrong."
Berry said officials are caught between a rock and a hard place.
"Now they've gone to the other extreme. They complained we had a crime problem and now they're afraid because of all of the police presence that there is still crime," she said.
