Church in St. John

Has anyone out there in the forum group been to our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in St. John? We are getting married there next spring and I welcome any feedback. Thanks.

We went to Mass there on our last trip and it was wonderful. The music is great and so joyful. We won't miss Mass there from now on.

We have not attended mass there but a group of older island ladies caught my husband peeking in the windows one evening when they were holding a meeting of some sort.

Two came out and invited us in. They were very warm and welcoming and if they represent (and I am sure they do) the membership as a whole, I am sure services would be a very pleasant experience.

I used to be a member of the church while on island. It is a great parish with wonderful members.

Nothing but good things to say about Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church and its parishoners. They accept everyone with open arms. Plus the fact that the new church is absolutely beautiful. Congratulations on your upcoming wedding.
