Just last week I came across a pair of Keens on sale at REI and decided to grab them. Previously I was not a fan cause they're kinda ugly.
Here's a link to a pic of them at Zappos (below). REI has them on sale for about $60 (roughly) and I gotta say that these are some seriously comfortable shoes!! Now I feel bad for thinking they were so ugly

I too have recently become a Keen fan (I still think they're ugly ).
I was looking for comfortable walking shoes for our Med cruise last month; knew we'd be doing a ton of walking and typically not on smooth paved surfaces.

They are so comfortable - no breaking in period. _________________ janet

FF-- I'm BUYING THEM NOW!!
You can't STOP me.
They are cute
and funky
and comfortable
and I the only regret that I have in my pruchase is knowing that I won't have them in time to wear them to your place on Sunday to torture you.
So THERE!! _________________ *Another fine scatterbrained production

Not my new pair. They are SO cute. Not bulky and they have a cute ribbon bow. And most importantly my back likes them. So cute, in fact, I am going to take a picture tonight & post it and have a poll. Cute or not cute? The guys are gonna LOVE THAT! No, not that, this.
And of course, in keeping with tradition, they must already be discontinued because I can't find them anywhere online. _________________

| I will stick with my trusty Birks. They were amazing for all week on STJ. I think I only wore my plastic flip-flops once. (Green corona ones, if you cared.) |

To be fair, they are the flip-flop kind of Birks. I am thinking I might get those croc flip-flops for next time. They looked nice.
These are the birks I have.

And yes, I do feel a little like Jesus when I wear them. |

SUPER cute! I love the fact that they come in fun colors.
Hubby has the birks with a back strap. He hates the way they look but loves the way they feel on his feet.
I told him if he ever wears them with socks though, I filing for divorce _________________ *Another fine scatterbrained production

When I was in college and going through my grungish-hippie phase, I wore Birks (the ones with the two straps and the back straps), wool socks, a flannel shirt and jeans every single day.
I blame Eddie Vedder. And maybe Al Gore. |
