Day 3 Monday
Today we went to Trunk Bay. This is my favorite beach when it is not crowded.
We snorkeled, and it was a little cloudy but not bad.
We made rum drinks on the beach and just enjoyed the view.
Cypress, VaGirl and I stayed at Trunk and had burgers for lunch and the rest went to Shepwreck's landing.
They can chime in here and tell you about that adventure.
It was a gorgeous day on Trunk and I just kept saying that I couldn't believe that I was here!
That evening we went in the pool and hot tub.
JDW from the forum and some of her friends came over for some drinks and appetizers.
The sunset was beautiful!
Then we had a dinner of a yummy pasta dish that Betty made. What was the name of that dish?
Quote from my journal that night. "So, I've said WAY too much and told these women everything-what the he$%!
It is such a great time- too much alcohol-. But fun!" (and right now the other 5 are saying, if that is everything about you- you are pretty boring!)
Day 4 Tuesday
Boat day with Rev Stu and his wife Janelle.
This picture was taken on the National Park dock:
I love this picture!
We stopped at Waterlemon first. The snorkeling was pretty good, but Cypress and I went around the cay clockwise and at the other side we got caught in some REALLY shallow stuff and were practically scraping ourselves on the bottom.
Then we swam and had a few drinks.
Next we went to Tortola and went to a shopping area where we felt real young because everyone else there were Sr. Citizens.
We did a little shopping and went to the bar. This is where we decided our Gilligan's Island characters.
Next Jost Van Dyke and Foxy's.
We met Foxy and took our pictures with him.
Then to White Bay and we went to One Love and had Bushwhackers and had burgers at Jewel's. We weren't in any hurry so it was no big deal, but we think Jewel had to go slaughter the cow to make our burgers. They were SO delicious!
We saw Verve from the forum at One Love.
We wrote our names on the bar at One Love, so look for it if you are there. SIX on the Beach 2007 and we signed our names.
It was Rev Stu's Birthday so we had a cake for him and celebrated a little.
It was such a great day out on the beautiful water!
We went back to the villa and swam (skinny dipped) and went in the hot tub again. We had nachos for dinner.
To bed early again! _________________

Looks like you ladies are really showin' 'em how it's done.
Enjoying your reports so far.
(I love the picture in the first installment, with everyone in the water with the standard One Hand Up To Hold The Drink pose. ) |

Hi Tom:
We actually asked Stu about those ruins and he told us that the building was the old customs building to the BVI's. At least that is what I think he said??? Stu are you out there?
XOXO

I think you're right, Bug.....I just remember he kinda slowed down and let us take a picture, we were all so taken with how rustic and beautiful it looked. _________________ <ahref> |

And yet another perfect 2 days. Great trip report. I luv One Love Bar (even prefer it to Soggy Dollar Bar), probably because the drinks are stronger (ha! ha!). Was that fabulous musician there playing and singing (good regae tunes)? Thanks for sharing, especially those great pics, I really needed it today....hmmm, feeling better already!
