Given the limitations of a being located on a fairly desolate island, where everything must be imported - including the staff - we thought this was an excellent hotel. The food at the resort left a bit to be desired for sure, but the charm of the grounds and the room, along with a rental car (a MUST if you want to see the island's real charms), made this one of the best vacations we've ever taken. Our room was 1st floor ocean-front, 2 steps from the beach, which made it that much better.
