This villa is fabulous! It is located off of Rock Ridge Road just past the Westin and up a pretty steep hill the driveway is a little tricky but not bad. It is a 5 minute drive to Cruz Bay on all paved roads. The villa itself has a nice curved stairway down to an sarbor to the infinity pool. To the left is a 2 story pod both with king beds and their own baths with outside showers. The first floor's deck is the pool deck and the second floorhas a cathedral ceiilng and it's own balcony with rocking chairs and a table outside of both.
No Televisions in either of these bedrooms.
Outside of the first floor unit is a stairway to a bridge that goes over the pool and to the main part of the villa. There are many outside chairs, rocking chairs and a chaise lounges. A Weber grill and plenty of coolers. To the right is a door to the kitchen and laundry room. The kitchen is in good condition with white appliances. There is a huge bar area that has about 5-6 director's chairs at the bar. The bar top and countertop is made of marble tiles. The wall in the kitchen and the under the bar is that magnificent stonework that is on STJ with the coral, stones, shells etc built right in. This is through out the main house and exterior.
There is a good size great room with cathedral ceilings. This is where the tv/living room and dining room table are. The sliders on the wall are the biggest I've ever seen-probably 24 feet long. There is a spiral staircase to a loft with 3 twins and a double bed. The attached Master bedroom has a tv , king bed and bath with outside shower.
All of the bedrooms including the loft have ACwhich all work very well.
The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need ton's of pots and pans. Not crazy about the silverware it has white and green plastic handles. Ton's of glasses and of course a blender for all of the frozen drinks you will be making.
As I mentioned in my earlier post, The house has a security system in the master bedroom closet. It is taking constant pictures of the exterior of the house and the alarm did go off during our stay. We think it was because the tape ran out. We unplugged it to shut it off and a day later someone had plugged it back in.
We read in the villa journal that some people had been robbed at the house in early 2004. Someone had stolen an IPOD and some money. So be sure to lock the house up every time you go out and go to bed.
If you stay here you are sure to enjoy your stay.
