Coral Rays 12/20/2007
Reviewers Rating: Great
Coral Rays is a beautiful villa with everything you could want.

The road up to Coral Rays is paved about 1/2 way and then turns into a very bumpy ride. The drive-way down to the villa is the steepest drive-way I have ever been on! We had 2 Dodge Commanders (I think that is what they are) we took the top parking space which was pretty hard to get in and out of the first couple of days, but we figured it out. The other car got the lower parking space which I thought was very easy to get in and out of. 4wd is a MUST!

The top floor is the kitchen and living-room. I loved this area. The kitchen and living-room open to each other, it is very spacious and decorated nicely. There is an out side shower with bathroom and a nice covered deck. The kitchen was well stocked with paper towels, tp, dishes, etc.

Follow the outside stairs down and you'll come to the pool area and 2 bedrooms. We stayed on this level and it was convienent to the kitchen area. We did not mind the stairs. The 2 bedrooms share a nice size bathroom w/stand up shower. The bedrooms were decorated okay, nothing fancy, but clean and nice. The room across from ours had 2 twins that could be turned into a king.

The pool was to cold to swim in but the hot tub was great! We listened to music from Island Blues as we drank our rum mixers in here. Plenty of room on the deck.

Follow another set of stairs to the 2 master bedrooms. They were beautiful. Each had a private bath, that was huge, king size beds, and nicely decorated. If we didn't have a toddler with us I would have stayed down here. No real view, but nice all the same.

All of the bedrooms are a/c. Living area was not, but it never got hot in there.

Things I liked:

The villa is spacious! Nice for a big group, we had 6 adults and a toddler

Kitchen and living room had everything

Plenty of towels

Private

The hot tub

Things I didn't like:

The doors were hard to get locked, some doors could not be locked at all. They really need new doors.

The drive-way; wish Destination St. John would have said something about it.

I have seen better views, lots of growth.

I would reccomend this villa, on the condition you are prepared for the driveway and road.
