Maybe we're spoiled because we're used to good food, but if it wasn't for the beautiful St. John sunset, then we would have been completely disappointed with our dinner at Stone Terrace. Quickly put, I had the lobster which tasted as though it was boiled too long as it was not tender and lost all taste, and the duck salad with a vinegar dressing (was that duck or some mysterious dark meat?) The service was a bit too rah rah for my enjoyment. The presentation of the food was beautiful, yet the key component - TASTE - was lacking. I will never return to the Stone Terrace as the pizza place at the top of the hill offered tastier fare. We were so disappointed with the Stone Terrace.
