Finally, some good conch fritters on St. John. The last few years we've had to go to the BVIs to get good ones. BVIs still win, but Rumbalaya makes some very tasty ones. They deep-fry them quickly and briefly, then bake them so they are not greasy and yet are well-cooked inside. Their accompanying sauce is complex and tasty.
We also had an Asian chicken salad there that was full of very fresh greens. The grilled chicken was tender and delicious.
They make a good drink there, and you can't beat the location, right at Wharfside Village, overlooking the beach and all the bustle of the ferry dock.
The place is also very clean.
