We recently returned from a ten day trip to St. John. As we have been many times before, we were delighted to find this new restaurant. It was fabulous! It is located in the courtyard in Meada Plaza, next door to Duffy's and across from Joe's Diner/Cafe Roma. The decor is bamboo, some bench seating with cushy pillows, swings at the bar, some couches and lounge chairs for when you just want a drink or snack. The menu is Pan-pacific-Aisan/Caribbean. At dinner we thoroughly enjoyed Thai spring rolls, Szechuan spicy noodles, chicken skewers w/peanut sauce, pork tenderloin w/cilantro mango sauce, mahi, sweet potato fries. They were also many vegetarian options. Everything was beautifully prepared and artfully presented. We were travelling with a 15 month old, and they had high chairs, toys, baby dishes, baby spoons, even sippy cups! What a joy! The service was attentive yet laid back. We loved it so much we back for lunch another day. Excellent mango gazpacho, cuban pork sandwich, cheesburger w/spicy asian slaw. Again great service, great baby attention, great prices. A big draw for me is their pu-pu platter selections. At least 15 different items in small portions priced from $3.50-$6 each, so you can sample many different things. We were so pleased with everything there. I hope they stay around for a long time. You must check it out when you go to St. John!
ps-my husband would eat at Uncle Joe's BBQ everyday if he had his way, and he loved Rhumb lines too!
