My wife and I went to LaTapa last year for the first time. We were on our honeymoon and were on St. John for 10 days. This year we went back for a 2nd honeymoon...and yes, we went to LaTapa 2 times during our visit.

The wait staff at LaTapa is second to none. They spent just the right amount of time with us to be helpful...and not overbearing. They gave good suggestions on meals when asked for their input.

The food at LaTapa is also GREAT! I find the Habanero peanut sauce shrimp over linguini simply irresistible. If you have a chance, try it. Get your napkin ready, as you will be wiping your brow a couple times throughout the meal...this stuff was HOT. Also, try the bread and LaTapa oil, I love this stuff.

The only improvement they could make is having some ice cold Carib beer available. For some reason you can only get Red Stripe at LaTapa.
