Aqua Bistro 02/17/2005
Reviewers Rating: Stars Excellent
Aqua Bistor is located in the courtyard of the Cocolobo shopping complex in Coral Bay next door to Voyages, a stone's throw from Island Blues. A large, circular gazebo bar is at the entrance of the complex with about 10 tables scattered throughout the courtyard.

They plan to start breakfast and they have a variety of hot, pressed panini-style sandwiches for lunch.

We went for dinner and split four appetizers between three people. We had the baked brie puffed pastry, crab cakes and seafood ravioli and they were all excellent.

A vegetarian among us had a veggie soup special for an entree which was aparently very good with lots of chunky vegatables and she was very happy.

I had the Bistro Chef (basically a Chef Salad) which was huge and only $10. There's a mango dressing that was pretty good if you want to jazz it up a bit.

Our third had a Thai beef special with a spicey peanut sauce on pasta. Huge portion for about $16. I had a bite and it was very good but little too much spicey peanut sauce for me but it didn't bother him. He ended up taking half home for lunch the next day.

We had a bit to drink so we were impressed that we got out of there for $80 before tip for three people. Its more upscale than island blues & skinnys in food & atmosphere but still very casual and affordable.
