Our annual trip to St. John would not be complete without a visit to the Lime Inn--& it was once again one of the most consistent & pleasant dining experiences on the island.
One must start off with a cocktail or two at the outside ficus bar, relax, and take in the evening. our bartender from maryland, craig i believe was entertaining and made one feel totally comfortable.
The mussels muienere were so good, we ordered another appetizer of them, getting extra bread to dip into the wonderful cream wine sauce! Two of us had the seafood pasta special with a roasted red bell pepper cream, cooked to perfection, pasta ala dente, and loaded with clams, tuna, super tender calamari---oh so good. my wife, eating always on the light side loved the quiche and the side of butter parmesan noodles. And the grilled mahi mahi over the open flame grill with their fresh veggies was marvelous(my larger appetite as always landed me several tastes!)
Being a restauranter myself, the Lime Inn, I have found over the years Rich has embodied his beliefs of friendly and good service with a consistent meal into his staff--making the evening once again a tremendous culinary memory & a relaxing moment in time to cherish!!
