You just HAVE to stop for drinks/lunch. We ate there 3 times on our trip. We were soon ‘regulars’. We even sent some other folks there and Larry mentioned it to us on one of our visits. Once we were heading to Miss Lucy’s for dinner only to find it closed for the slow season. So, let’s just declare right now – Larry makes the absolute BEST meatball sub. My 16 year old son knows his meatballs – and said it was the best he’s ever had. That’s a huge compliment. Larry said his secret is the slow cook process of the sauce. One the first visit I had the lobster roll – which was great (I expected a lot of mayo and little lobster but that was not the case – it was so good). The next visits I had the blackened grouper sandwich which was grilled perfectly. On one visit my husband had the chicken parmesan sandwich – it was one of the specials of the day. My younger son had plain cheese nachos – not sure why he selected that with all the other good food on the menu but he loved them. One day he had a chili dog. Oh yeah – if they have the wings on the day you’re there – get them too. Drinks are great – food is great – prices are super.
