La Tapa is one of my favorite restaurants on St. John. Service is always great, and the food is uniformly fresh and well flavored.
We started with the sauces con pan--three sauces to eat with bread (my one complaint about La Tapa--they need better bread). My favorite is the mango salsa.
The grilled langoustines is another of our favorite appetizers here--they come head on and with a mango sauce--delicious.
Fish entrees were excellent as always--we had a local mahi with crispy polenta and a pasta with lobster, prawns, and truffle. Both fresh and full of flavor.
The wine list is good at La Tapa, and I love the atmosphere. It's a must do every trip.
