BOLONGO BAY BEACH RESORT PARTICIPATES IN USVI CENT-SATIONAL PROMO WITH 25 CENT ROOM NIGHTS
ST. THOMAS, U.S. Virgin Islands (Oct. 9, 2009) - Bolongo Bay Beach Resort in St. Thomas is participating in the USVI Department of Tourism's "Cent-sational" promotion which provides a nightly rate of 25 cents for the resort's European Plan (EP) for a maximum stay of three nights, a $25 per person dining credit (max two per room) which can be used at Bolongo's two restaurants, a $25 per person activities credit (max two per room) and a Virgin Islands commemorative quarter Scotiabank coin set to commemorate the minting of the U.S. Virgin Islands own United States quarter.
Bolongo's Cent-sational package also includes accommodations in an oceanview room, a "discover scuba diving" in-pool lesson, and complimentary use of non-motorized watersports (snorkel gear, paddle boats, sunfish sailboats, windsurfing equipment, and kayaks).
The Cent-sational package is valid for bookings made from Oct. 9 - Nov. 2, 2009 for travel between Oct. 9 - Nov. 15, 2009. The Cent-sational package applies to new bookings only. Reservations must be made through BookIt.com.
Packages are available within the stated time frame, or until the allotted number of packages has been depleted; the offer does not apply to existing bookings; blackout dates apply and the offer is only valid on bookings made on this promotion. The $.25 rate does not include taxes or resort fees; bookings must be air/hotel vacation packages: back-to-back bookings without the purchase of a flight to the USVI will not qualify for this promotion.
The $25 per person dining credit can be used at Bolongo's two seaside restaurants -- The Lobster Grille and Iggie's Beach Bar & Grill -- which are among the most popular on St. Thomas.
The $25 per person activities credit can be used on property towards the purchase of boat trips (half-day sails, cocktail cruises or snorkel trips) aboard the resort's Heavenly Days catamaran, wave runner rental or at the St. Thomas Diving Club, a five-star PADI training facility located at Bolongo.
No Passport Required
Travelers making reservations at Bolongo do not have to worry about having a passport. As a territory of the United States, the U.S. Virgin Islands (St. Thomas, St. John and St. Croix) does not require American citizens to possess a passport to enter the destination or return to the U.S. mainland.

Bolongo features 65 beach front rooms curved around crescent-shaped, palm-lined Bolongo Bay. Accommodations are in the midst of a makeover with new color schemes and soft goods (bedding and linens).
