The description above is accurate. But we felt a lot more about it. We've been all through the Caribbean and love St. Thomas too. But the Buccaneer has a charm to it that's hard to match. Dining up on the hill, the open air restaurant and bar, the kids programs are top notch.
The sugar mill takes me back to the 18th century. Even in the first 2 days there, at the welcoming ceremony when the the Mocko Jumbies came out to quietly welcome us with the haunting sound of the steel drums at the sugar mill. ahhh.
We want to go back this year.
