St. Thomas offers excellent diving, snorkeling, kayaking, para-sailing, windsurfing, jet-skiing and more. There is plenty to do on and below the water here - the following list of dive shops and watersports operators can help you decide.

When you're not diving, relax on our quiet beaches or travel minutes to the charm of downtown Charlotte Amalie and the finest shopping and dining in the Caribbean. The St. Thomas Diving Club offers a full selection of rental equipment and sells a complete line of duty free dive gear and beachwear. Also on-site is a complete repair facility. Our diving fleet consists of two custom designed dive boats, Letts Dive and Elysian Lady that usually take no more than 6-10 divers.

Here are some popular dives around St. Thomas:

    Cartanser Senior
      An easy dive with much to see. This 190ft. World War II cargo ship is very safe with easy access to the engine room and much of the other parts of the ship.
    The General Rodgers
      This 130ft. Coast Guard cutter sits in 65ft. of water and has great visibility. Keep your eyes open for the resident large barracuda.

Reefs and rocks:
    Calf and Cow Rocks
      This reef gets its name from the rocks which resemble a cow and calf humpback whale. Here you will find a tunnel, underwater archway and overhangs. Be sure to bring a camera.
    Carval Rock
      Sponges and gorgonian cover the rock which rises above the water and descends to 90ft.
    Congo Cay
      Located near Carval Rock on the Northwest side of the island.
    Dever's Canyon
      This is the home of a 500lb. green turtle which rests under a ledge. Divers are not to disturb the turtle.
    Grassco Junction
      Large marine life is to be found on this dive for an experienced diver.
    The Leaf
      The Leaf is a great dive for those looking to see large marine life such as nurse sharks, turtles and rays.
    The Tunnells
      "The Arches and Tunnells" Long tunnels and arches are home to many silverside fish. Divers enjoy swimming through the tunnels, rooms and passages which are formed by huge boulders.
