My husband, 2 children (ages 5 & 21 months) and I just returned from a week at this resort (timeshare exchange) and had a wonderful time! We had a 1 bedroom unit in the 'Villas' section, which is laid out nicely with the rooms on staggered levels - although there were other units surrounding us, we were never bothered by noise, and our balcony also felt very private.
Our unit was faily good-sized, with 3 steps up from the living room into the bedroom and kitchen areas (not a great setup for toddlers - our daughter did take a couple of spills down the steps). The kitchen area is smaller than other resorts we've been to, but we still managed to have breakfasts and several other meals in our room. There is a little store on-site, and grocery stores on the island for stocking up (we drove to one outside of Red Hook - about a 20 minute drive).
The resort doesn't supply dishwashing liquid or shampoo, but does have a coffee maker, toaster, hair dryer, iron/board. Bath towels are only changed a couple times during the week, but beach towels are supplied, and can be exchanged at any time. There's also a laundry room, so you can pack light!
The resort offered at least one arranged activity each day, and has a nice pool, hot tub, bar, restaurant, and tennis court. There was also a free shuttle service to various points around the island, including Charlotte Amalie, Magen's Bay, Red Hook, and Coki Beach, which we thought was a nice service.
We would definitely love to stay again at this resort!
