Grounds of hotel are beautiful.The front desk service was very good, although our room was not ready at 3 p.m. Rooms were very clean but a bit dated. Our rooms were on the Hillside area of the hotel,since hotel is situated on a mountain it requires a lot of stair climbing to reach pool & beach area. If your're unable to climb stairs they will send someone to drive you down. The hotel did not have a lot of beach activites, they do have watersports....There is a bar in the pool area which had music and televisions. The dinners served in the Baywinds restaurant were very good....Try the strawberry shortcake served with strawberry icecream. The hotel breakfast buffet could use more of a variety of foods $14.95 . For lunch which starts @ 11 a.m. you can eat at the Palm Cafe..a bit expensive..I had a cheeseburger, fries and Nantucket Nectar the cost was $16.95. The Spa was very nice...prices were average. I had a saltfoot scrub cost $50. All staff at the hotel were very friendly. Several employees stated the the hotel will be renovating rooms. I will definitely stay there again.. its in the middle of everything.
