Alta Vista villa is managed by destination st john. They did a wonderful job with checking us in to the villa two weeks ago. I asked them to pick up our car rental keys because of a late arrival and they did. They also let us stop at the store before the drive to the alta vista. Now the villa review. Alta vista did have some issues with some things that were advertised with the rental information. Here is the list-
1.outside fireplace did not operate
2. ice maker did not operate
3. hot tub did not operate
4. stereo system did not operate
5.most of the doors and windows did not have handles or would not open and close properly
6.no garbage bags or storage containers for leftovers
7.no owner manuals
8.AC did not work in 2 of 3 bedrooms
9.dirty linen left from previous guest
I know some of this may seem trivial but when you rent a high end villa you expect to get what is stated in the rental information.I did email the rental company of all of these items a few days before we left but received no response. These are all items that I noticed other guests had written and left reviews in the villa. These items should be handled and dealt with before guests arrive.
destination st john did leave us a welcome basket in the refrigerator that was very nice.
