This was our first trip to STJ with our family of four. Myself, husband and two kids ages 14 and 10. From the moment we walked up those steps and looked out at the view I knew I had picked the right villa. Marc Miller, the villa manager was a great guy who took us to the store and then onto Casa Bueno.
Everything we could possibly need was in this villa. When we got there part of the screen doors were jammed and not working so when Marc called to see how we were doing we told him about it. The next day someone was out fixing it. We would have been fine even if it was not fixed as we had the other half open and that was more then enough breeze for us. Speaking of breezes this villa will never get warm, at least I do not see that happening. There is so much air flow. It is fully air conditioned but we only used it in the bedrooms and the only reason was from all the sounds, roosters, etc that we are not used to.
My only minor complaint would be that the one bedroom had a musty smell as soon as we got there but I am assuming that is just from being on an Island and the weather that they have in July. It did not bother my daughter who slept in that room and I am sure I would have been fine with it too. Since, this was our first time on island I do not know if that is normal.
The kitchen was very well equipped and the house was immaculate. The owners have thought of everything and anyone who stays here will not be dissapointed. The deck and pool area could not be better. The pool furniture was so comfortable. Every morning I would get up early and head to the deck while the rest of the family slept in a bit. This was my favorite time as the view is incredible - have I mentioned the view? Thank you Casa Bueno for making our first stay on STJ incredible.
