Thanks 54b. We have stayed up on gift hill and also above Choc. Hole. Both had full a/c. Inn now has it in bedrooms only so thinking we will be okay. Really think I like the higher up views. With that said, would you go for it?

That's what I thought! Never stayed in one without. Throwing out Notre Ciel and Brisas del mar due to no a/c. Down to Viewtiful or st john livin.

Would we be crazy to consider no a/c in August if up high in coral bay or up on mamey peak?

Thanks for all the help. We booked Sundance. Good price and just not a lot of choices for July 4th. Couldn't talk my hubby into staying out at Second Wind. To be fair, he is the one who does the driving! We'll get back to Gifft Hill next time. Love that view!

Can anyone give me an idea of the drive time from Second Wind to Cruz Bay? Would it be difficult at night? I think we will rule out Sea Scape as it seems the views aren't that great. Thanks for the heads up! I just checked mine and they changed all our return flights and gave us two middle seats 11 rows apart on our 5 hour leg. Their response was try at the airport to get seats together. I hate American but can't seem to get there another way from where we live.

We were surprised by a rather large man emerging from the ocean at Jumbie on our first trip. It's a rather small area so it was pretty awkward! Francis was another place we saw it as well. Yuck!
