Anyone have any updated news on the Beach Bar reopening? Considering a Nov-Dec trip.

Kevin, I've stayed at both Coconuts and Plumeria within a year or so before you bought each of them. Loved both houses then, especially the views. From the pics I've seen, you have really brought them up to a whole different level. Congrats.

Plumeria is right next to Coconuts and has a nice covered deck area. Check vrbo to see if they are still renting. House and pool have similar layout to Coconuts. It's a nice place.

I brought a power inverter last summer. It was worth it even going carry-on only. At Maho, we'd send my son from the beach to the jeep every time our cups were empty and he'd return with frozen daiquiris. He didn't really care for the nickname Blender Boy though.

I have had massages from Krista a couple of times at my villa. She's excellent. I know she has another gal available to be able to do couples, but can't vouch for her.

I'm staying at Coconuts. This is a good year to do this as there's quite a bit of availability still at places.

I have had a trip in the back of my mind all year. Just decided that I had to do it now or it would be another 4-5 months.

I decided last week to make a last minute trip to SJ. Arriving this Friday. Never have done this where I don't have to count down the months until paradise. I think I'm going to like this.

I see there's a gathering at the BB on the 7th. I'll see some of you there.

I'm also looking to get there in early November. Is there any place to check for last minute villa deals or is it an informal process to talk with the owners/management companies?
