Re: Hello strangers!

Hey jofus, thanks! Let's see if this pic of Maho loads? It is from August. The crew commented on how green and lush everything looked around the islands on that trip. I went down after Hugo in the 80's which certainly pales in comparison, I feel the need to return sooner than later. [img] UT3A5088%2...

Hello strangers!

I am happy to recognize familiar names still here, some might know me on another board as beerman, yes I like beer! We have visited St John by boat several times over the last few yea...

Not sure if you want to sail or powerboat? We have been going out with Truman on Flyaway Charters for the last several years. I think he is at Flyawaycharters.com. He has two powercats that are very comfortable for up to 6 people. You can go anywhere on these. In April four of us went to Foxy's, Sydn...

Jofus, I started going to St John with buddies in the early 80's camping at C-Bay and Maho. We did both, tents and "cottages", the unit at the end of C-bay beach is the best!. Some of "my" greatest memories are from those times. That was almost 30 years ago, sh*t! After years of ...

Hey Anthony, Photo's are always a great feature to trip reports and basic posts. Is there an easier way for members to just cut and paste photo's from our personal files?? I have an account with snapfish, which I opened for this site specifically, and well.....honestly I don't have the time to move ...

Hey Moose and Diana, Two years ago there was an outdoor dining area with a covered porch, probably added after Diana's visit? The covered porch is just outside the kitchen next to the pool. It had a nice big teak table and chairs for 8 people and a grill. I looked at some photo's and discussed it wi...

I really enjoyed this. The music slideshow reports are my favorite. We just returned from spending Easter in Coral Bay and I can't shake that feeling that comes over you there. Your report will put me in a good funk all day! Thanks, Budman

We stayed here 4 years ago in July. The road was really bad then, if the road was still rutted out like that I would not want to stay up there again (and I have a cabin in the blue ridge that requires 4x4). Sounds like the road was repaired though. I agree with tjwgrr the villa felt like you were st...
