No additional trips at this time but you can always enjoy the local bars in Frenchtown until the 3:30 departure

Re: Villas that are up high with those views and private
Nice to have you back liamsaunt. We are returning in June to celebrate our 40th (year of marriage, not trip to STJ) and this will be our first time back since summer of 2017. Our favorite villa is still damaged and not available but looking forward to the return and continue helping any way we can. ...

Re: Recommendations for a villa for 2 please!
I cannot comment on sound system options as we always bring our Bose Soundlink Mini. It gives us great sound and is portable if we want anything at the beach (careful to play low volume so as not disturb those around). Unfortunately, our favorite villa Soft Winds is still damaged but it doesn't have...

Ilios is another option in the same area. Not sure what your budget is but June is looking tight so unless you are happy with July it appears you need to make a selection fairly quick.
We are going in June and can't wait to get back.

Re: Beach Sweep
It is never a bad idea to clean a beach or any where else for that matter. Unfortunately, there are those who make such effort necessary but we have been doing it every trip we make. Heck, I even do it on the Galveston beaches back home. You'll always see the remnants of someones ashtray or liquid r...

Re: Food from the mainland
Our favorites are Reef Bay, Ram Head, Lameshur Bay and America Hill trails. Reef Bay We took the Parks Department Tour from Centerline to Petroglyphs, Reef Bay ruins and return to CB via boat. Given the hit to the park by Irmaria and this stupid Wall business that option is probably not available to...

March might be the winning guess for an "all in" opening but I am sure they are looking at sometime in February to service/recover as much of the high season as possible.

Re: Food from the mainland
Polar Bear also has carry on style which we also considered but the back pack was really convenient while chasing our granddaughter through the airport and we like to hike on island.
Safe travels. I would add enjoyable but that's a given.

Re: Food from the mainland
Not sure what your flight details are (duration, stopovers, etc.) but we travel from Houston which typically means 2 hour flight, 1 stop minimum and 2-3 hour layover, 2 hour flight and 1-2 hours from CA to villa. We use Polar Bear backpack (18 cans + 10 lbs ice size) so we can easily carry it around...

Thanks for sharing. I am always envious of those frequently seeing octopus as I have only been able to sight three in all our trips and no one else in the family has been fortunate to do so. Looking forward to your follow-up.

Better yet, it is real time and not refresh delayed. Love to see the palm waving and water lapping the shoreline.
