Is EWR an option? Continental has direct flights to STT, but not sure if they have them during the low season.

Re: Day 1: Getting There is Always the Longest Day EVER

He knows that as much as he likes St. John, I LOOOOOOOOOVE St. John. When I return from a trip, until I have the next trip in the books, I am unsettled. It doesn't matter if that trip is 6 months or 2 years away, I just have to have the next one to look forward to. (YES, I am currently in the early...

I could easily spend $8000 on 1 week for 2 people, especially during high season. We love to go fishing and typically get a charter a few times while we are there at about $750 a pop. But that's how we like to spend our $$. When we went for 2 weeks, in the low season, back in 2003 for our wedding we...

We got married on St John in 2003 and went back for our 1 year anniversary with good friends. They ended up getting engaged at that same spot on Ram Head. I will try to get Adrienne to post a reply! Good luck. You can't go wrong proposing on St John!

We got married on St John in 2003 and we bought my husbands clothing at stores at home. He wore a white linen shirt and khaki pants.

We got married on Truck at 9am and not a single person was on the beach.
We were on island for 1 week before the wedding date. Anne Marie Porter also performed the ceremony and we didn't pick the location until 1 or 2 days before the actual wedding date.

My friend got engaged at Ram Head and she loved it.
My favorite place on the island is where we got married. Get on Trunk Bay beach and make a left and walk all the way down.

How exciting and fun.
We were married on St John May 2003. We returned for our one year anniversary and brought along another couple. They got engaged during a hike at Ram Head!!

I like your idea of making her think the engagement will be that first night.

Ah, no wonder my policy ending up being twice as much as they quoted and 5 phone calls later I STILL can't get it resolved.
Anyway, have a great time!

It would be fine for 2 kids, but it's not a large pool. If you PM me your email address I can email you a few pictures.

I stayed there in May 04 through Carefree Getaways. I thought it was sold and taken off the rental market, is it back on? The house was nice, nothing fancy, but adequate. The only negative thing I can mention is the beautiful view of Cruz Bay and St Thomas was partially ruined by powerlines. If you ...
