Trip insurance
Good morning. We are traveling to St John next February and were wondering if anybody has purchased trip insurance, and if so, through what company. I’ve tried to get a quote from CSA on line but the website isn’t very user friendly. The last time we booked the trip was cancelled because of the two ...

Sea Stone Villa
Was wondering if anyone has any feedback about Sea Stone Villa. Four of us are planning on a trip next winter and this villa looks really good to us. This will be my 11th visit so I know the island pretty well. Just wanted to know, that if you know the house, are there indoor showers ( says there ar...

Re: Trip #3 just booked! And a question
You might want to take the new ferry from the Crown Bay Marina. It’s a 5 min cab ride from the airport and a half hour ride to Cruz Bay. We did it in Feb and it was fabulous! I think the cost was $20.00 per person plus $5.00 per bag. Well worth it

I don’t know what ind of food you’re planning on sending but canned or bottled stuff or heavy items like books, sun screen or etc can be sent to Connections either in Cruz Bay or Coral Bay. Check them out

Ferry to and from Crown Marina St Thomas
Does anyone have any updated information on the ferry that goes to and from Crown Marina St Thomas to Cruz Bay? We heard it’s running now but know nothing about it. Is it reliable and has anyone taken it? We’re on the way to St John in February and it sound like a great way to get there. Thanks

Re: Paradise 2019
The villa would have probably been ready but we felt after speaking to the owner that the island might not have been ready. St John is our paradise and other than Italy our favorite place. We needed to make a decision so we decided to put it off a year. Reading about all the people who went back to ...

Re: Paradise 2019
Pia, the area we stay in is Playa Norte where the beach is beautiful and it's just a short walk into town. Ive stayed at 3 different hotels in that area and they were all fine. We're staying at NaBalam this time and it'll be our 2nd stay there. We have friends who have rented villas on the ocean sid...

Re: Paradise 2019
I’ll definitely take some shots in Isla and either post here or PM you. It’s a fun place with great bars, some good restaurants, beautiful beaches and golf carts for transportation. I’m really going to miss St John but were rebooked for next Feb.

We were booked for our 10th vacation on St John in Feb. Then Hurricane Irma came and with a heavy heart, lots of conversation and emails with our villa owner we decided to wait till 2019. It was a hard decision but for us I think it was right. We donated and sent packages but felt the island might n...

Re: One nite on St John
Rick,
Do you know if the St John Inn will do one nite in Feb? Tamarind Inn has a 3 nite minimum. I wrote St John Inn but so far no reply.

One nite on St John
Anyone know of a B&B or Guest House on St John that will book a 1 nite stay (Friday) during Feb? My villa starts on Saturday and my flight arrives Friday afternoon and I'd rather stay on St John for that one nite instead of St Thomas. Any thoughts??
