Cape san blas, Florida is beautiful. Gulf on one side and the bay on the other. Very quiet area. Dog friendly beaches.

Re: What are you reading?

Hi all, just finished The Wife, the maid and the mistress which I enjoyed. I am now reading 5 Days at Memorial. It's about one of the hospitals in New Orleans during the aftermath of Katrina. I am really enjoying, but I'm from there. Looking for my next book. Any ideas??

Sanibel island

Looking for places to stay on Sanibel Island, Florida for 8-10 people, parents and 20 year old children. Never been there and the searching is a little overwhelming!! Looking for a house or condo on or near beaches. Also any info on things to do or see would be great! Thanks

Re: Vacation with adult children

Thank you for all of the great suggestions. I've been reading some about the Abacos, particularly Guana cay or Elbow Cay. Anyone know the best (inexpensive) way to get there from the US?

For foodies and cooks, Michael ruhlmans (sp?) books on chefs , The making of a chef and the soul of a chef are good reads. Also, heat by bill Buford was pretty good.
