Finally stopped snowing about 10 minutes ago, 9 inches here in Howell MI dt. Not as bad as the forecasters predicted but plenty enough. Heading out now for the 2+ hours of cleaning it up. :( I'll be thinking about Ruth and Capt John's video and pretend that it's sand blowing down my jacket. :D 73 ho...

I'm like you Crd, I be a floater :D . That's a good thing and a bad thing sometimes. Bad in it is serious effort for me stay down when swimming down to check something out. Also need 18lbs of weight for Diving and that is without a wetsuit. That being said I think everybody's buoyancy is different. ...

Our 1st Olympus quit working after a year and a half. Quit while being used by a Family member on a Cruise. Didn't know if it was the camera or the Family member so we bought another one. That one lasted about 9 months and is now at the manufacturer being fixed as it is still under warranty. This on...

Ridgetop Villa

Has anyone heard of this place or better yet stayed there??? Can't find a comment on it anywhere. It is located over by Coral Bay in a neighborhood called Eden Place. Good time to ask now considering I reserved it in October and we'll be there in 9 days. I'm sure it will be fine we're not too ...

Honeymoon Beach/Caneel Resort

Just came across a video of Honeymoon Beach. Yeah, I wanna go there. I know it's $10 to park for access through the Resort. Is it appropriate for four of us to be cruising through the Resort with our chairs and coolers or would it look like the 2nd coming of the Clampetts????? Or is taking the...

Well, finally got this figured out. Talked to the Villa Mgr and she says that she always plans on a stop at the Market with her customers before heading to the Villa. So problem solved. Thanks to all of you for your comments and recommendations.

Sara-Maybe we should ask our Villa Agent if she would mind waiting while we do this. Sure would be nice to have our shopping done that 1st night. Too late to do much of anything else anyways. Or..... Maybe we could drop off the girls @ Starfish to start shopping and we could get the Villa settled an...

The Fresh Fish on Isla is deeeelicious Beth. We just returned from Zihuatanejo which is a fishing mecca, that's what they do there. Had fish several times and not once did it compare to the two dinners we had on IM. Never once felt unsafe on IM either and we were out late one of the nights. We go on...

After rereading my last post, it sounds pretty negative. I guess I should reiterate that we like Isla Mujeres and would go back, in fact likely will go back. LV- I think you are right on both statements. You probably will be a little underwhelmed when comparing it to St John. And.... It is a warm pl...
