Verizon on STX
Your daughter's Verizon will work on STX. It will piggy back on another system and the coverage can be spotty. Be aware that it costs $0.69/min for roaming charges that will apply.

The Holiday Inn is on Veterans Drive along the water front in CA. The ferry / sea plane terninal is almost across the street. You can walk to the Green House or other restaurants in that area. AA did the same to me lastyear on a trip to STX. They changed the first leg down from JFK to SJU that would have caused me to miss the Am. Eagle connection. They didn't even rebook the connection.
