We're arrivng the same day as you and leaving 2 days after Margy gets there. We are planning to go to SAD mid morning to noon. Other times I'll probably be hanging out at Rhythms wearing my Yankee's cap.

Sounds like you have the "Cottages" life-style down. We always stay in Cruzan When we're at Cottages. It has the best poarch for breakfast in the AM and drinks in the PM.

Verizon on STX

Your daughter's Verizon will work on STX. It will piggy back on another system and the coverage can be spotty. Be aware that it costs $0.69/min for roaming charges that will apply.

My wife and I stayed at the Holiday Inn for a long weekend Thanksgiving 2004. We walked to the Green House at least one night. She's got problems with her hip and knee joints so she can't walk too far. And if you're not out real late, like past midnight, it should be safe to walk.

The Holiday Inn is on Veterans Drive along the water front in CA. The ferry / sea plane terninal is almost across the street. You can walk to the Green House or other restaurants in that area. Stick to walking along Veterans Drive for safety. It's well lit at night. I'm not sure if Frenchtown is wal...

AA did the same to me lastyear on a trip to STX. They changed the first leg down from JFK to SJU that would have caused me to miss the Am. Eagle connection. They didn't even rebook the connection. Fortunately I had booked through Travelocity, $10 more than booking on the AA web site. They dealt with...
