As Marcia said, we've moved on to other destinations. But, I do check in on this forum from time to time just to see what's going on.

There certainly were quite a few kerfuffles on this forum back in the day. I'm not sure if I miss that or not.

Ya, back in the day, this forum had some dust ups, but it was mostly fun and games. But, I think that made it more interesting.

Marsh and I have moved on to different vacation destinations. STJ just became too too for us. For us, it lost it's vibe. It's a big world. We are exploring.

Setting aside the fast-food issue, there are very few places left on STJ for "local" food. Most of the restaurants serve what we can get at home.

We really like our Kindles...the paperwhite model. Very easy to read even in bright sun.

Fish Bay, hands down. From Skytop, you can see most of the southern part of the National Park. It is stunning.

The Balcony is gone. It is Spyglass now.

I owned a two door Wrangler for about 5 years. I really don't think it would be a problem.

Wolf, Vida De Mar was a treat. It was a first for us...being on STJ, but also being able to hear the surf 24/7. It really made the villa different from anything we had experienced.

This is a very tasty dip. We leave out the zucchini.

Yours was better. It had pictures. I've been on this forum for about 50 years and I still haven't figured out how to post pictures. To be honest, though, our pictures would not be too interesting...they mostly consist of us sitting around the pool.

Nancy, nope, not so much. We like walking the beach, but the beaches on STJ are too short for that. We like the beauty of the beaches, but we don't need to spend an entire day there. We know what we like. I know it might not be what others like, but what the heck. It took us many visits to STJ to ge...
