I agree with Betty and the others who suggested you stay in New York. You will have almost 24 hours there and you'll be a lot less tired after a long flight if you don't have to do so much transiting and toting of baggage and packages. If you stay anywhere in New Jersey, you may get a total of 12 ho...

Sorry if I've ruffled some feathers here, but this is, by definition, a place for discussion. "Rude and abrasive" to me is making unfounded accusations upon an entire group of employees ie. "US Air employees stole our liquor package." I must admit that the person I thought was tr...

"Well, when the Columbus, OH USAir baggage folks tell you that the airline is aware of theft problems in Philadelphia, that not getting your booze isn't uncommon, and that they're conducting an investigation, I'd think that there might be a problem. Plus, there have been previous posts about th...

"US Air employees stole our liquor package." How can you be sure enough to make such an accusation? Please provide more information. Are you sure it wasn't someone from the TSA? How about another airline's employees with access to the baggage areas? What about the companies that service an...

"...an announcement is made that the plane is unsafe to fly to Philly..." Call me foolish, but I'll wait as long as necessary to have a safe aircraft. I hope those who don't share my opinion of this never generate enough power to change the way the airlines (all of them) treat this sort of...

For cryin' out loud, he's TWELVE, not TWO!

Let HIM decide what to wear. Whatever he wears at home in the summer will be just fine.

By the way, "sensible brown sandals with straps" NEVER were sensible, unless of course, they were worn with argyle socks.

Psst! Hey teach...I think you want "bona fide", the adjective.

"Bonified" is a verb for...uh...something else, but whatever you do, don't discuss this with your class.

Sounds like it's time to reactivate VIJI (the Virgin Islands Jamming Initiative) unless you can get these things with an earplug and know how to whisper.

Many of us don't want to hear these things on a beach, the ferry, in a restaurant, or (gasp!) a bar.

"And I certainly don't want to come off judgemental or offend anyone, but I find it pretty sad."

Yikes! Can you say "oxymoronic"? And twice in the same sentence!

Welcome aboard! I'm not saddened, just slightly stunned.

Yikes! 6:00 AM is a good time to be going TO bed! You guys have got to learn how to relax! My guess is that most of you are starting to make lists in your head already with that first slight awakening and that finishes it for you. Count me among that other society...the ones who must rush to get out...

I Wanna Be Like Greg!

Who has seen the series of commercials just started by CDW, the computer company? I want to be the guy marooned on the island with the chimpanzee who builds the beach bar! Even if it gets blown apart by a storm in part of what was the third or fourth version of the set. They have been on CBS during ...
