Hi Linne, I also remember you from many years ago, what just came to mind was a funny conversation about swim noodles- wasn't that you asking what people were referring to and then finding a picture of a woman riding one with quite a satisfied expression on her face?! We had a wonderful time on Scubadu, a 40 ft cat. I believe they can take up to 10 or 12. Our kids loved it! My family of five has stayed in both upper and lower units. It honestly wasn't bad, the upper has an extra half bath which was nice. We really don't spend a lot of time inside except for sleeping. I second the Scubadu suggestion. Our family of 8 adults had a wonderful day trip with them! The menu choices were great, and they were more than willing to adjust the schedule as we wanted. I also just want to mention that it IS possible to have a wonderful stay using only carryon luggage. We have done this the last three trips to St. John, each time staying for at least a week, once for 10 days. We all (6 in family, kids in their 20's) take our own snorkels and masks.
