Having spent the past three years of Philly/Camden Buffett concerts tailgating in sweltering heat and humidity, I would say: bring a cooler of frozen bottles of water, you can walk around until each bottle melts and is consumed, then you must return to your site for another. Take one of those combin...

okay, what's the real story on Buster? I've been reading this board for two years and only recently have heard anything about Buster. Have seen Luna and Lindy, but never anyone with a machete and/or gun. Sounds a bit scary. Can anyone shed some light on this character??

Great for you!! We're still looking at January flights out of EWR for $414 pp, not bad. Philly flights are double that.

How was the family trip? Is there a TR forthcoming?

How about a couple of heads of roasted garlic? Roast it at home, cover the dish w/ aluminum foil for travel, put a slab of softened brie cheese next to it, and toast a sliced baguette loaf drizzled w/ olive oil. Spread the bread slice with a clove of garlic and top with some brie. Sounds fancy, but ...

Calling all Caneel experts!!

When considering all of the room options available at Caneel (Jan. 09) how do you decide which one to choose? For instance, the least expensive is the Courtside room for around $600/night (ouch.) Then I look at the beachfront room for $1200/night, double ouch. Is the beachfront room worth double the...

Your reports are fabulous! Enjoying them sooo much. One problem with all these non-STJ trip reports, though, is I find myself wanting to go to Virgin Gorda, then I read about Anegada, so now I want to go to Anegada, THEN I read another report about Anguilla, now I want to try Anguilla. I can't stand...

LOL on the "wearing 3 shirts" comment. Too funny. My daughter is 13 and that whole look is interesting, don't know how they aren't sweating with all those layers in the middle of summer! You are truly amazing to keep your chin up through that chaos/adventure. Can't wait for the next instal...

We stayed in Rendezview Villa overlooking Hart Bay...with 5 kids, youngest was 4 yrs old. Nice pool on lower deck (it was a bit windy/cool in the afternoon as the sun was only on the pool in the a.m.) We were there early February. It had an upper deck (outside of the main living level) that was quit...

I've had my eye on Anguilla as well. The beaches look amazing. Would love to see pictures. Did you get to see Cap Juluca at all? Curious as to what that looked like. Keep up the reports, good job.

Lovely photos. We considered Great Escape at one point but were somewhat put off by the tales of John's Head Rd. What was your experience? The view looks amazing. Would you stay there again?

Well, happy to say we survived the concert even though it was god-awful hot, again. A massive thunderstorm broke loose just minutes before Jimmy took the stage. We had a 45 min. rain delay and then he played, what we thought, was the best concert in many years. I must say, after reading all of the c...

okay guys, it works now. The lightbulb finally went on after I read your posts. I pulled the dock out of the iPhone box (which I had already stored away in the dark recesses of a cabinet) and plugged the cable into the dock. It works like a charm. Must've been having a blonde moment. Thanks for your...

No docking station. I bought the cable a few years back to connect old ipod nano to the stereo. one end in the stereo, the other end in the ipod where the earphones plug in. It never dawned on me that I would have to purchase a new cable specifically for the iPhone. I guess i had hoped the same cabl...

iPhone help- how do I feed my music into my home stereo?

Recently purchased the iPhone and totally love it. I have a cable connected to my home stereo that I could plug into my iPod nano to get the music to play both inside and outside of my house. Last night, went to hook up said cable to my new iPhone, turned on the ipod part of the phone and the music ...

Hi Traveler - if she has one, let the 14-yr old bring her laptop (as long as the villa has internet hookup) That way, as least while everyone is vegging at the villa, she can still keep up with friends. Sort of like a tradeoff, she's happy/occupied while at the villa, yet agrees to be cooperative wh...
