Thank you for the information. Our group changed again, so we are going with a 4 bedroom.

Crystal Seaview vs. Reefside Villa
Our group has grown at the last minute from needing 4 bedrooms to 5 bedrooms. Our choices are Crystal Seaview and Reefside Villa. We are a group of 6 adults and 4 children (all over the age of eight). I read an old review that said Crystal Seaview has two sets of rooms that share a bathroom (two set...

Re: Best options staying 1 night on STT in-bound to STJ?
We stayed our first night at the Marriott on STT in September. It was exactly what we wanted. We arrived at 8:30 pm to STT. Restaurants, bars, roomservice, the store and other things were still open after check in. It was a comfortable fist night after a long travel day.

Re: Taxi with car seat?
Rachel is wonderful and she would have no problem with you installing / using your car seat. However I don't think she has one to provide, although I have never asked. I am not sure if Island Baby will deliver to the STT airport or maybe meet up with Rachel ahead of time at the Red Hook ferry. But I...

Re: Marriott to Red Hook in November
We stayed at the Marriott last Friday before heading to
STJ on Saturday. They have a taxi stand on site, so getting a taxi to the Red Hook ferry took less than 5 minutes. Very easy.

Question re Caneel Beaches
We arrive in two weeks . Are we allowed to use the beaches around Caneel (Honeymoon, Solomon, Dennis) while it is closed if we hike or arrive by boat? This is our first off season trip. Thanks in advance.

Re: Planning a trip in May looking for villa input
We stayed at Blue Papaya a few years ago. (May 2013 I think). The villa is beautiful. I definitely recommend it. Let me know if you have any specific questions.

Re: Food ideas for villa
For an easy appetizer, I bring a few packs of hidden valley ranch dip mix and bacon bits. Buy sour cream and grated cheese on island if you aren't a cooler person. Make the dip according to the package directions and add cheese until chunky. Let sit in fridge for at least 30 minutes (if you can wait...

Re: Excursion choices...
BTR is awesome! First class service and worth every penny. They are our first choice when we have a big group. We have not met the new owners, but the reviews are still fabulous. I think you will be pleased. Of course Palm Tree is awesome too.

Share Charter in September and other September Questions
We will be on island in September to celebrate our 20th anniversary. We have traveled March- early July but never September. Is anyone interested in sharing a boat charter during the week of September 18-24? We usually have a group that splits a charter, but this year we are solo. We would like to g...

Re: Accomodations to sleep 4 for 2 nights.
Have you looked at St.John Guest Suites? Also, if you call Grande Bay they can help you directly, especially for short term. Ocean Pearl and Aqua Gem are next door / identical villas. One of them might rent for two days if available. Just know the bottom floor is all bedrooms so they share a wall. B...

Re: 6+ BR rentals??
Blue Papaya and La Bella Vita are on the same street / road in Virgin Grand. I can't remember if they are next to each other or if a villa is between them. There is also a nice villa on the other side of Blue Papaya. I can't remember the name but I think the owner is a forum member. Really most of t...
