Topic: Villa Rates - Number of Persons vs Number of Rooms

Hi Steve! We usually go with villas that set the price as 'per person'. Almost fell into the 'per bedroom' trap a few years ago. My thinking is that if I choose to sleep downstairs, instead of in the Master bedroom, I should not have to pay more. And if I decide to switch rooms, for whatever reason,...

Good for you, Marianne! Too many nasty things have happened in this world because good people were afraid to illuminate the darkness with the light of truth. Perhaps now, with National exposure, and the VI Tourism Dept shaking in their boots, the VI Government will start to demand more from their La...

Awwwwww - that's not good. Crabby's dinghies were the only way we got to explore and snorkel the Hurricane Hole area. Kayaks are fun, but I'm not so sure of how to jump in and out of them to go snorkeling..... Guess we'll have to do the North Shore route next time. Hopefully, the "Little Arks&q...

My doc told me that we get hangovers becasue the alcohol forms mild toxins in the blood, much like from the flu virus. Said that we can't do too much about that besides drinking pleanty of fluids - water preferable as it doesn't stress the liver, which is already busy trying to get rid of the toxins...

Rasta - The roads on STJ and STT are narrow and have very sharp turns. some of the honking is because people are letting others know that they are coming around the corner from the other direction. You won't hear it so much after sundown because then, you can see the other car's headlights as it get...

Dear LLBL - My wife was also very nervous about "all those sea creatures". But I reminded her that in the ocean, size matters. We are way bigger than most things and they think we're looking to eat THEM! For proof, try to get close to anything besides coral, and it will move away from you ...

Anybody know what ever happened to Nicky? The guy in Coral Bay? He has a stocky build and used to walk all over Coral Bay, barefoot. I had read awhile back that he had gone missing for a few days.... Thanks

Sorry Mel, but, yes it is your imagination. Most of the talk around here is about: Tevas, neat sheets, shoes, coolers of frozen meat, more shoes, and favorite coffees. But if you really want to get fired up, the 'other' forum was talking about smoking herb while on-island..... ;-)

Never used Conrad, so can't say anything about that, We rented from ST John Car Rental the last few times and they were very nice to deal with, amnd have good, low mileage vehicles. An article in the St John Source says that the Senators passed a bill that 'would allow' a 15 year exclusive franchise to V.I. Sea Trans to operate ferry service between STT and STX. A company spokesperson noted that they are 'currently operating at a loss' - which seems to indicate that they are in...
