Re: A note from Ruth to all Forum members
I lost my sweet Lab of 11 years exactly one month before the loss of your sweet boy. I miss him every day but his sweet spirit still lives in my heart. May you too find peace and still know the joy that it was to live life with Curly.

Quality Produce and Specialty Food on STT
Hello Forumites! We are trying something different this year and have rented a jeep through Amalie. We are cooler people and will be bringing our favorite proteins along, we are thinking of doing our supplemental shopping on STT. Let me just say we are a little spoiled when it comes to fresh vegetab...

Re: Which car companies can accomodate late arrivals?
We have rented from C&C numerous times with a late arrival and they will work with you. They are located up the hill right past the ball field. My husband goes and gets the jeep and brings it back to the ferry landing for loading.

Re: Need a room for two for one night!
Thanks to everyone for the suggestions. St. John Guest Suites has a three night minimum. Cruz Bay Boutique was booked for our date. We have a room confirmed at Tamarind Inn. As we are Coral Bay people, this will be our first time staying on the Cruz Bay side of the island. Looking forward to trying ...

Need a room for two for one night!
Well the good news is I will have one day more on STJ than I originally thought but the bad news, well the twist cuz its not really bad, is that my villa rental starts on June 6 and my flight arrives mid-day June 5. The villa is booked until we take over on the 6th so I am in need of one night's lod...

Re: Some new plans for this years trip
Regarding the Reef Bay hike, we went for the second time last year. Because my hubby and I did it solo once before, we decided it was best to take our newbie family with the park service. When we reached the bottom of the trail, we were told that it was too rough to pick us up in the usual spot so w...

Same dependency as Bluestreak. I have four dogs I wouldn't think of kenneling and my house sitter is a teacher. When she was in college we typically went in early may. Since she started teaching we shift it to June. She ends her school year on Thursday and we our outta here at 7 am Friday morning :D

Sorry Coconut Kevin . . . .but Mangoes are my favorite; especially in a Mango MargaritaCoconuts wrote:You can bring all the fruit you want down, but leave the mangoes on the trees when you return. Ditto with left-over ribs.
All the best,

Fresh Fruit and St. Thomas Taxis
Hello Fellow Forumites, After skipping our annual trip to St. John after six years in a row, we are returning in June for two weeks; one week with three newbies at Almost Heaven in Coral Bay and one week with just my hubby on the East End. An ideal trip in my mind getting to introduce those close to...

Info on the boat bar. We met the owners at Aqua Bistro several years ago when it was under construction. Very interesting as to how they got the materials on island. Great pic btw!!! It is called Angels Rest. Don't go to the website because my McAfee detected a virus. Call instead. For Further Info,...

You will need a kayak or dinghy to get to Henley Cay. While amazing, the currents can be brutal so consider a vest and definitely take a buddy.

Re: Maison Miele villa?
The furnishings are older and not as posh as other villas; however, the beds are extremely comfortable and the linens are of good quality. The range and dishwasher are in need of replacement but the fridge was new last time we were there. Again, this house is all about the views and the gardens - th...

Re: Maison Miele villa?
We have stayed at Maison Miele four times in the past; three times in April and once in mid-May. I love, love, love the house. It is private and the view of the water from every room in the house is amazing. My husband and I still feel a very special connection to that house. With that said, our ann...
