We used the off things that have a fan on them and never got bitten. I loved not having to spray myself down with bug spray all the time. We did a lot of hiking this last trip and were in the woods a lot. No problems at all!

I got ours at Walgreens a few years ago. I love having them to put on the rental car seat after the beach. I would hate to have to sit on plastic to keep my seat dry!

We too have AT&T and have never had a problem. I also call before we go and ask about the international charges.
