I've had lunch there twice, and very much enjoyed the food, the presentation and the service. Decent prices for what you get, too.

It's my opinion that the new affordable housing community (Bellevue) has not caused crime in the area. Break-ins seem to go from neighborhood to neighborhood, and do not seem to be concentrated in one area. Seems to me that kids get bored in one neighborhood and break into surrounding homes/condos/a...

I go to Honeymoon every few months or so...we park in Caneel's parking lot and walk through the grounds to get there, and we've never had a problem. I think jmq hit it right on...don't be obtrusive, no using the beach chairs, and you should be fine.

Lavender Hill is nice, but there is still a major construction project going on next door. My grandparents stayed there in January and said it was noisy...not sure how noisy it is now.
