I couldn't agree more about the trading verses selling thing. I can't believe how much some people pay for them though!!!

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with if you take on the ATC's!

I made some Halloween themed ATC's a while back just for the fun of it...but I would not go so far as to call mine tradeworthy art!!! Would love to see pics of yours though! When I first read up on these, it seemed that there were mixed reviews by artists on the subject of selling them verses strict...

On my first trip, the rental agency had left a note on the vehicle that had my name on it, and said to come back the next day anytime to fill out the paperwork! I got a real kick out that, but probably doesn't happen that way too often any longer.

Do you use the internet feature for anything else other than downloading the books? If so, is it enough for just really light web surfing - reading blogs, forums, twitter etc...?

I've been off the forum for a really long time, and just recently lurking...When I decided I needed some advice on electronic gadgets, I knew there would already be a discussion going on here! I am trying to decide between getting an Ipad2, Nook Color, or the Nook WiFi+3g. I barely know enough about...

Looking for Grilled Jalapeno Popper recipe/video

I am 99.9% sure that the Grilled Jalapeno Popper recipe/video was discussed here at some point. It was a video of a guy, preparing stuffed jalapenos, and they had bacon wrapped around them, and he grilled them. Does anybody remember this? I have searched through the food porn topic, but...well...the...

I am in the same boat Next April - solo trip. At first my family was going to go with, but it turns out they are fun-suckers. If they drained the fun out of the planning, I was not about to take a chance on them draining the fun out of the trip!

I also use the clear nail polish, and it works. Something about smothering the chiggers. I have used the bleach before, and it seems to take the itch away, but I make sure that it is NOT the non-chlorine bleach. That works good on poison ivy also. Basically it's the same as taking a long dip in a sw...

P-600's recipe is the basic ingredients that I use. I mix mine a bit differently though. I use diced canned tomatoes (very well drained - I even squish out the juice) or I use ripe fresh tomatoes, drained and squished as well. I put them right into the mayo/sour cream mix. I let that sit overnight, ...

I read somewhere, that Madonna washes her whites in straight vodka. I've never tried it, because the vodka always seems to be gone. I can see it working though. In the bridal industry we use alcohol to get out a variety of stains that find their way onto white, and it always works!

Here is the link to the Lemonade Bars. I have not made these. I have been searching for a recipe for years that my grandma used to make. It was just a sheet cake, with a lemony glaze on it. You couldn't even see that it had a glaze, it just tasted really lemony. The lemonade, confectioners sugar gla...
