Re: 2 full days on St. John

I would hike to Honeymoon Beach and either do the day pass there which includes lounge chairs, hammocks, snorkel gear, floating mats, locker, kayaks, and paddle boards or you can rent separately if you want. They also have a little store where you can but water, gatorades, soda and snacks. Spend the d...

Re: Another Island ?

I would suggest Anguilla. It is a flat scrubby island but has some of the best beaches and most clear water that I have ever seen and the people of Anguilla are so friendly and welcoming. St John will always be my number one but Anguilla is a close second. Check out www.anguilla-beaches.com

Re: Must do' for a first timer on STJ

I would park in town and walk the trail behind the National Park building to Honeymoon Beach. Virgin Island Ecotours has a hut there where they have watersports rental and a beach hut. We usually just rent lounge chairs and and a floating mat but they do have kayaks, sup's , snorkel gear and even lo...

Great Taxi Driver

A friend from home gave us the number of the taxi driver that they had used when they were in St Thomas. I put the number in my phone but didn't really think about it as we usually just go right to the airport when we get off the ferry at Charlotte Amalie. This time though we had about 2 hours to ki...

Villa Review- Casa Coram Deo-Jan 29th- Feb 5th

All I can say is WOW!!!! This is our 14th trip to St John and have stayed in a variety of different villas but Casa Coram Deo blew us away from the moment we stepped in the front door. We were a group of 8 and this villa suited each and every one of our needs. The villa has 5 bedrooms but we only ne...
