Hey Pia et al. -- that was going to be my next question ... Has anyone else used "Bad Kitty"? The thing about going to VG is it's a haul and it seemed because they are faster that we can get there and make a few more stops if so desired. Seriously, I'm thinking with some general interest ...

We ate there the beginning of this month. My wife and I both enjoyed our food, the service was good, the view was great! It wasn't the best meal I've ever had but I preferred it to Asolare. The wife preferred Asolare.

Glad to hear it wasn't as bad as expected, time to celebrate!

We've had a pool both times and I got a lot of use out of it. My favorite routine is to take a dip in the pool with a Caribe (or three) while the wife got ready to go out for dinner.

Good advice regardless of the weather

Ok, please explain "sand dollars". They are basically vouchers that can be used around town. We used ours at ZoZos, Asolare and Morgan's Mango. Another good place that takes them is our very own St. John Spice! I agree 90 minutes of vacation time is precious but we were interested in seei...

We had the same experience in our villa last week when we were there. It was def. worse then when we were in St. John in Oct. 2003 but we weren't sure if it was the villa, location or weather???

We did the tour. Very nice units but we passed for now. Anyone who is interested in taking the tour I'd recommend it. Very laid back and the $125 "sand dollars" came in handy.

The wife and I ate there on Oct 2nd. I had the Mahi Mahi and she had Tuna. I thought my food was very good but she said hers was so-so. Service was fine...business was sloooowwwww.

Anyone ever do the Westin preview/sales pitch? The wife and I are considering it as we would kinda like to look around the Westin...for comparison:) 90 minutes tour and sales pitch for $125 in "sand dollars"...good for dinner and such around town.

We ate at Jakes yesterday, for lunch not at 3am, and the food was good. I'd say the menu is real stick-to-your-ribs type that'll power you through what ever kind of chemicals you put in!
