Re: Back to St. John! Just 2 Questions, please!
Well I personally agree. AND - I have this amazing wife who just hates excessive spending on meals. Plus - we have a group of 8 and I'm trying to be conscious of their budgets, too. Thanks for the recommendations! I have sent the web sites and menus to our group for review. Can't make a bad choice! ...

Back to St. John! Just 2 Questions, please!
Hello! After a 3 year absence, we are heading back to STJ in early February. We'll be celebrating my wife's birthday while on-island and I'm seeking a solid restaurant recommendation. We went to Lime Inn last time. Great time, but she is allergic to lobster/shellfish so it kinda takes the luster off...

Re: new places to eat
What went in to the Craig & Sally's spot? We loved that place. Been a few years since we have stayed on STT, but are staying 3 nights this February.

Re: need help choosing 2 bedroom villa
We are BIG fans of the Chocolate Hole area. Easy access to restaurants and night life in Cruz Bay yet tranquil while watching the sun set. Plus - when it rains along the north shore - we've found our villa sitting in sunshine. Our 2 bedroom villas have been French Cap. Would go back there in an inst...

Re: First time bringing Newbies to the island...HELP!
We've brought "newbies" with us several times - both family and friends. One thing that I've found in common is that they WANT to see different beaches and sites. While we might be happy going only to our personal favorite beaches during the week, we've always been sure to take our first-t...

Walking from Grande Bay to Cruz Bay
How easy/tough is the walk from Grande Bay to Cruz Bay? Is the walk back too uphill for a 5 year old (and his tag along parents!)?
I have friends staying there in early June, and they plan to walk to Cruz Bay for Dinner. I wasn't sure if they might need to taxi back to the condo.
Thanks!

Re: Lobster on St. JOhn
We did, indeed, hit the Lime Inn for my wife's Birthday dinner. Wonderful experience. She had the Lobster and I had the Blue Cheese Stuffed Filet. So of course we shared and each got some surf-and-turf. Service was excellent. Definitely on our list to do again! Thanks for the recommendation - we've ...

Inner Visions at Beach Bar
I just checked the Inner Visions website, and it says they will be performing at The Beach Bar on Thursday February 6th at 9pm. I've wanted to catch a show, but have not had the chance on previous visits. My question is: How early must a party of 8 get there to get a seat for the show? Seems every t...

Re: Sunday Liquor sales on St. John?
Thanks - I meant the liquor store in the Starfish Market plaza. We won't get to STJ until around 5pm Super Bowl Sunday. I'm thinking we should go ahead and provision on STT to be sure we have refreshments for the game.

Sunday Liquor sales on St. John?
Is the liquor store on St. John open on Sunday? We arrive Saturday and stay on St. Thomas. Just need to know if I need to shop there on Saturday, or if we can buy Beer, Wine, Liquor on St. John on Sunday.

Lobster on St. JOhn
My wife (and us - a party of 8) are celebrating her 50th Birthday on February 7th. She LOVES Lobster. Any recommendations on where we should go? Her birthday is a Friday night (Morgan's Mango has lobster night, but not on a Friday). I REALLY want her to feel special on this night. I'd sure appreciat...
