Not going to make an 8:00 from stj, we had a 9:00, was on the 6:00 am ferry, made it okay, but never would have made a earlier flight,

DnD, Great photos and nice trip report, we feel the same way about Maui and STJ, We love STJ, but man it certainly is easier for those of us in the west to get to Maui. We stay right there are the Westin Kanaapali Ocean Villas everytime we go.

thanks lprof and jmq, it's really hard to take a "bad" photo down there. those 2 are favorites, going on the wall.

Here's another gallery from the first trip in 06. The trip that started our little STJ "problem".

Glad you asked. I have a gallery of just Island Time Villa. One outdoor shower. In the front courtyard, which is a little odd if you are the only couple staying there and are not in the cabana suite. You would have to go through the lattice passage door to get to the shower, but if you stay in the c...

Flicker galleries of our STJ 11/8-11/15 trip

Been back a month, Dang! But I've managed to edit down the mass of images I shot. Enjoy. General photos - the people shots have been removed to protect the not so innocent. http://flickr.com/gp/ross_mike/X8x5R9 Underwater http://flickr.com/gp/ross_mike/69d43q Thanks for all the advice! Thanks for the clarification, seemed like the stop light going the other way was right after the entrance to caneel. But I sure I'm wrong. We had the same thing happen to us, light wouldn't change. Finally one of the road crew did something and it changed. Roundabout does work pretty well. Certainly...

Was there last week. High surf advisories were in effect, M, T, W. We actually enjoyed trunk on monday the 9th. They didn't charge us for admission, the snorkel trail was closed. Which kept the cruise ship crowd away. You could still get in the water (At your own risk of course) lifeguards had to te...

Was there last week. Right now it's along the stretch between Estate Lindholm and Caneel. Closer to caneel. Maybe a quarter to half a mile stretch, if that. ? time delay of about 5 minutes max. Actually seemed to be making more progress on that than the roundabout. Which didn't seem to change at all...

Bug situation around Maho Bay Camps in June

I have a friend who is traveling to Maho Bay in June, her only concern is about the sand fleas, and other than telling her to stay off the beach at dusk/sunset is there any thing else that fellow STJ forumites think is important to someone staying there for the first time? I've never stayed there, b...
