I've got a couple galleries on my website from my last trip if anyone is interested. I know I've posted them before, but who wants to go searching around? It's Friday!

Umm, that exact picture has been the wallpaper on my computer for quite awhile  I must have right clicked on it at some point when you posted it previously? So needless to say, great shot! :D Haha that's awesome! I've probably posted it a couple times. I'm glad you enjoy it! Great pic, I thin...

Got that June trip booked!

Well, most of it. My mom, brother, his girlfriend, and possibly 2 others will be joining me at La Sirena from June 15-22. I've got my plane booked but those guys still need to do theirs (I'm coming from Denver and they're coming from Maryland). My last trip was 10 days at Concordia in 2010, so I'm p...

I've been doing the same research for a flight in June. I've seen a Delta flight that leaves around 6am and arrives at STT just before 4pm. Then there are multiple red eye flights on AA or US Air that leave around midnight or 1am and arrive anywhere from 1pm to 3pm. I'm sort of leaning toward the re...

This popped up on the Denver Post this morning: http://www.denverpost.com/breakingnews/ci_19138303 I knew that pic was in CO when I saw it, but I didn't think it was Boulder. Although the mountain lion sightings have gone up a little around here in the past few weeks. I wonder how many of them have ...

A lot of stuff, but there's one thing that really stands out. I've stayed at Concordia twice and still haven't hiked Ram's Head. It's right there! Next time for sure.

Being July, it's possible the tent was too hot/muggy for them. Especially with 5 people, 2 of them being kids.

The whole strike thing kind of messed up their image for people that were affected by it. I flew them out of DCA to STT last year a couple weeks before the strike happened. They cancelled my final leg back home from FLL to DCA without telling me. I only found out when I got to the airport on STT and...

I'm actually in the beginnings of planning a trip that will include my mom, brother, his gf and my aunt. Pretty sure they will all love it as long as the place we pick to stay is good. That means no camping (although I might go down a couple days early and stay at Maho by myself). They've been to St...

I'm actually not sure how I first heard about St. John. I was looking for a place to spend a few days to decompress after a grueling last semester at college in 2007. Stumbled on Concordia on the internet sometime between classes. Called and booked a stay within a week or two between some other clas...

The text I got in an email: Future of Maho Remains Unsettled I am sorry to report that negotiations to extend our 37-year lease have been so far unsuccessful. Unless the landowners decide otherwise, Maho will close before July 31, 2012. The land has been on the market for two years with a current as...
