Leave the good stuff..

We had a few villas and we overstocked them all. 1.) We left the booze at all of them. 2.) We left the pool and beach toys (we bought for the week) at the villa with the losta kiddy stuff already. 3.) We left all the Crab Mon coupons ( won at the Westin crab races) for free items on the villa fridge...

Havana Blue

I have been to Havanna Blue while scoping everything out in the Fall for the Wedding. If I was doing a business lunch and wanted to impress a few "newbies" to the island, the NYC style dishes and flowing Blue Drapes give a nice Dramatic Flair. The food was delicious & the view panorami...

Meat on a Plane!

And here I thought my sis in laws $7 empty wine bottle with Cheetos by the Westin pool was the worst thing going... We brought 4 coolers with 50 lbs of meat in each for our guests to BBQ the island every night! We put a nice cut of steak on top inside of each cooler with a Post-it-note saying, Dear ...

Reply to Diana ( The sister in laws "emperors" new

Diana, It is just the opposite. She was the first "wife" in the clan so does what she wants. Everyone else caters to her because it is easier than listening to them go gon and on about it.. I just happened to marry a school teacher who calls em as she sees em... So the Wine & Cheetos e...

Ladies & Gents, Everyone thought I was being to rough on them when I told them about how someone left a bottle and Cheetos at the Westin... You have vindicated me. & yes, one of the family married into wine & Cheetos. They think the Marriot in St Thomas ( which is nice) was an upgrade fr...

Anyone have inlaw travel advice? (this is a tuff one)

My question is a simple one. If you have a day (drop in) guest (IE: visiting your guests at the Westin / Gallows / Caneel or the day) that brought a $7 bottle of Wine from STT to the Westin pool the day before to drink and left it there with empty cheetoos bags, a few feet from the pool. How exactly...

The driver and hair dresser that made the wedding!

Before the wedding guests start posting the trip reports and all the fun photos, I wanted to start with a seperate posting for the two folks who's ears are a ringing from the stories being told in the NY / NJ Irish community this week. 1.) Earl our Driver Earl drove guests (by the dozen) ...
