I attended church on the beach at Cinnamon Bay twice and loved it. It is a program through the following organization: http://www.acmnp.com/ I just don't know how you can be closer to God than sitting in the middle of his creation. Both services were very different. The first year it was a quiet pea...

I find the rules for this game unfair -- ONE must do?!? There are so many.

Go to Skinny's for a burger and dreamcicle.

2. Reef Bay Hike -- I certainly would not do the Reef Bay Hike any other way than with the NPS. The boat ride back was definitely the way to go. I will not be doing the Reef Bay hike again. I did not feel it was a good use of my time. However, this is based on personal preference -- I do a lot of hi...

I have not noticed the fading so much. But the sand is rough on polish. I've even had sand melt into the polish when I was laying on my stomach on a towel with my toes sticking off the towel into the sand. Not talking about recently polished either -- had been done before I ever left home. i couldn'...

I've been to 2 KC shows so far this year and both times Kracker joined him on stage for When the Sun.. and another song. Also, Billy joined him for Tractor. I'm surprised to hear Kracker didn't join him at this show. How cool for you all that you were there for KC's George Jones surprise. I would ha...

That is some serious beach equipment! I end up spending most of my beach time at Maho, too.

I think you are missing creme of coconut from your Dreamcicle recipe. But you are right, it is never going to be the same as it is at Skinny Legs.

Enjoyed your trip reports.

I've stayed at Hotel 1829 two times. It is a little rustic and not for everyone, but fit my needs. I needed someplace affordable, safe and clean on my way to or from St John. The people there were very nice both times. There are a lot of stairs. Stairs going up to the front door and stairs going to ...

Loving your trip report. Thanks for the tip about Bamboo Jewelry. I'm going to have to have one of those latitude necklaces - just trying to decide if I should order it through the internet site, or go get it in person...

Both Lily's and Love City are a right turn at the the "triangle" in Coral Bay. As you approach the dumpters on the left, there is a road coming in on the right, look over your right shoulder and you'll see Love Citiy. Kind of behind closed gas station. Lily's is farther along main road, al...

I agree with the previous posters. I went to Lily's my first night in Coral Bay and picked up some basics. They had everything I needed. I did go to Star Fish and Dolphin later when I was in Cruz Bay. I have never been to Love City Market for the "curb appeal" reasons listed above, but I r...

Very nice photos. I think we have similar cameras. Which model underwater Olympus and which Nikon do you have? My Olympus is the stylus tough 8010, our 2nd stylus tough. I've got some opinions on these cameras, i'll add to the other underwater camera post when I get away from my iPhone. My wife's n...

Where is Yawzi? South shore, little lameshur. One of my favs! I will have to keep Yawzi in mind. I have not spent a lot of time on south shore beaches, even though I stay on Coral Bay side of island. Great photos, by the way. I could stand at Annaberg and look out over the blue water toward Tortola...
